Display device

A display device, comprising:

• a display panel including a plurality of pixels respectively connected to a plurality of data lines and a plurality of scan lines;
• a driving controller which receives an image signal and a control signal, and outputs an image data signal and a start signal;
• a data driving circuit configured to drive the plurality of data lines in response to the image data signal;
• and
• a scan driver which drives the plurality of scan lines in response to the start signal,
• wherein the driving controller outputs the start signal indicating a start of each of a first frame and a second frame following the first frame in response to the control signal,
• wherein a cycle of the start signal has a first duration during a first mode,
• wherein the cycle of the start signal has the first duration during the first frame of a second mode, and
• wherein the cycle of the start signal has the second duration different from first duration during the second frame of the second mode.

An electronic device, comprising:

• a display panel including a plurality of pixels respectively connected to a plurality of data lines and a plurality of scan lines;
• a driving controller which receives an image signal and a control signal, and outputs an image data signal and a start signal;
• a data driving circuit configured to drive the plurality of data lines in response to the image data signal;
• and
• a scan driver which drives the plurality of scan lines in response to the start signal,
• wherein the driving controller outputs the start signal indicating a start of each of a first frame and a second frame following the first frame in response to the control signal,
• wherein a cycle of the start signal has a first duration during a first mode,
• wherein the cycle of the start signal has the first duration during the first frame of a second mode, and
• wherein the cycle of the start signal has the second duration different from first duration during the second frame of the second mode.
