A method of predicting a likelihood of developing a disease or condition in a subject, comprising quantifying an expression or activity of a target protein identified in the Sequence Listing, Table A, or a variant of the foregoing, in a sample from the subject, wherein the level of expression or activity of the target protein in the sample is indicative of the likelihood of developing cancer in the subject, wherein the disease or condition is associated with the Genome-Wide Association Study (GWAS), the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), whole genome sequencing, phenome-wide association study (PheWAS), expression quantitative trait locus (eQTL) studies, or a combination thereof.
