Abstract

This disclosure provides for a hydrophobic coating composition containing a suspension of at least one fluorinated silane polymer and graphene in an aqueous medium and a method of preparing the hydrophobic coating composition involving the steps of a) providing a mixture of multilayer graphene, a fluorinated silane polymer and an aqueous medium; and b) subjecting the mixture to agitation.
