Abstract
Disclosed is an electroluminescent display device using a variable refresh rate (VRR) mode. The purpose of the present disclosure is to reduce the occurrence of a difference in luminance at a time point of a refresh rate change, thereby preventing viewers from perceiving the variation of the refresh rate.
Claims14
A display device comprising:
- a display panel on which at least one pixel is disposed;
- and
- a driver configured to apply driving signals to the at least one pixel,
- wherein the at least one pixel comprises an electroluminescent device and a pixel circuit,
- wherein the pixel circuit comprises:
- a driving transistor including a gate electrode connected to a first node, a source electrode connected to a second node, and a drain electrode connected to a third node;
- a first transistor including a gate electrode configured to receive a first scan signal, a first electrode connected to the first node, and a second electrode connected to the third node;
- a second transistor including a gate electrode configured to receive a third scan signal, a first electrode connected to a data line, and a second electrode connected to the second node;
- a third transistor including a gate electrode configured to receive a light emission signal, a first electrode connected to a driving power supply voltage through a fourth node, and a second electrode connected to the second node;
- a fourth transistor including a gate electrode configured to receive the light emission signal, a first electrode connected to the third node, and a second electrode connected to a fifth node;
- a fifth transistor (T5/T7) including a gate electrode configured to receive a second scan signal, a first electrode connected to a first voltage, and a second electrode connected to one electrode of the driving transistor;
- and
- a sixth transistor (T6/T6) including a gate electrode configured to receive the second scan signal, a first electrode connected to a second voltage, and a second electrode connected to the light emitting element,
- wherein the pixel circuit comprises at least one NMOS transistor and at least one PMOS transistor.
