A building management device for managing facilities and equipment installed on property, the building management device comprising:

• a control unit configured to associate model data points, at which data for use in an application for monitoring and controlling the facilities and equipment is stored, with device data points, at which data that is input from or output to the facilities equipment is stored,
• wherein the control unit stores a link rule that defines a search criterion for use when making a search among respective pieces of identification information assigned to the model data points and the device data points, and
• wherein the control unit associates one of the model data points and one of the device data points with each other, the one of the model data points and the one of the device data points having identification information that matches the search criterion.

A program for causing a building management device for managing facilities and equipment installed on property to function as:

• a control unit configured to associate model data points, at which data for use in an application for monitoring and controlling the facilities and equipment is stored, with device data points, at which data that is input from or output to the facilities and equipment is stored,
• wherein the control unit stores a link rule that defines a search criterion for use when making a search among respective pieces of identification information assigned to the model data points and the device data points, and
• wherein the control unit associates one of the model data points and one of the device data points with each other, the one of the model data points and the one of the device data points having identification information that matches the search criterion.
