Abstract
A client device obtains a rendering instruction delivered by a user. The client device sends a first message to a cloud rendering node, where the first message includes a rendering task and an indication of the cloud rendering node that is to execute the rendering task by using a cloud rendering application and at least one postprocessing program. The postprocessing program is configured to perform an image processing capability that the cloud rendering application is not capable of performing. The client device obtains a second message sent by the cloud rendering node. The second message includes a rendered image obtained by the cloud rendering node by executing the rendering task. The client device displays the rendered image in response to receiving the second message.
Claims20
A cloud rendering method, performed by a client device, comprising:
- obtaining, by the client device, a rendering instruction given by a user of the client device;
- sending, by the client device, a first message to a cloud rendering node in response to the rendering instruction, wherein the first message comprises a rendering task, the first message indicates the cloud rendering node to execute the rendering task by using a cloud rendering application and at least one postprocessing program, and the postprocessing program is configured to perform an image processing capability that is not supported by the cloud rendering application;
- obtaining, by the client device, a second message sent by the cloud rendering node, wherein the second message comprises a rendered image obtained by the cloud rendering node by executing the rendering task;
- and
- displaying, by the client device, the rendered image in response to the second message.
A client device, comprising:
- a display;
- memory;
- and
- a processor, coupled to the memory, configured to perform instructions stored on the memory to cause the client device to:
- obtain a rendering instruction given by a user of the client device,
- send a first message to a cloud rendering node in response to the rendering instruction, wherein the first message comprises a rendering task, the first message indicates the cloud rendering node to execute the rendering task by using a cloud rendering application and at least one postprocessing program, and the postprocessing program is configured to perform an image processing capability that is not supported by the cloud rendering application, and
- obtain a second message sent by the cloud rendering node, wherein the second message comprises a rendered image obtained by the cloud rendering node by executing the rendering task;
- and
- present, on the display, the rendered image in response to the second message.
A computing device cluster, comprising at least one cloud rendering node, wherein each of the at least one cloud rendering node comprises a processor and a memory, wherein the processor is configured to execute instructions stored in the memory, to cause the computing device cluster to:
- receive, from a client device, a first message associated with a rendering instruction given by a user of the client device, wherein the first message comprises a rendering task, the first message indicates the at least one cloud rendering node to execute the rendering task by using a cloud rendering application and at least one postprocessing program, and the postprocessing program is configured to perform an image processing capability that is unavailable to the cloud rendering application;
- execute, by the at least one cloud rendering node of the computing device cluster, the rendering task to obtain a rendered image;
- sending, to the client device, a second message comprising the rendered image obtained by the cloud rendering node by executing the rendering task;
- and
- displaying, by the cloud rendering application client, the rendered image in response to the second message.
