Abstract
A mesoporous pseudo-boehmite rich in surface hydroxyl groups and a preparation method thereof are provided. A catalytic cracking catalyst contains the mesoporous pseudo-boehmite is prepared and used in catalytic reactions. The pseudo-boehmite has a most probable pore size greater than 4.5 nm and not more than 12 nm.
Claims22
A pseudo-boehmite, characterized in that the pseudo-boehmite has a most probable pore size greater than 4.5 nm and not more than 12 nm, such as 4.8 nm-11 nm, or 5 nm-10 nm.
A method for preparing pseudo-boehmite, the method comprises the following steps:
- (1) a sodium (meta)aluminate solution is reacted with CO2 to form a first slurry;
- (2) the first slurry is aged under certain conditions, and a hydroxyl regulator is added during the aging process, wherein the hydroxyl regulator is ammonia water and/or a precursor capable of forming NH3 such as urea, to obtain an aged slurry, wherein the aging temperature is above 100° C. and not more than 185° C., such as 120° C.-180° C., or 120° C.-160° C.;
- preferably, the aging under certain conditions is:
- first static aging, then aging under stirring;
- (3) the aged slurry is filtered, washed, and dried.
