Abstract
A cutting device is provided for cutting a conveyed plate-shaped body. The cutting device includes a rotary cutter and a lifting device. The rotary cutter includes a lower unit. The lower unit is disposed below the plate-shaped body, and includes a roll and a lower blade attached to the roll. The lifting device is disposed on the lower unit, and lifts up the plate-shaped body.

A cutting device for cutting a plate-shaped body being conveyed, the cutting device comprising:
- a rotary cutter including a lower unit, the lower unit being disposed below the plate-shaped body and including a roll and a lower blade attached to the roll;
- and
- a lifting device that is disposed on the lower unit and lifts up the plate-shaped body.
