Abstract
An improved exercise band including an elastic band having detachable handles on opposite ends thereof, a movable sheath extending between the opposite ends and surrounding the elastic band, and a plurality of spaced attachment members placed around the elastic band and attached to the sheath for allowing releasable attachment of and movement of other exercise equipment. In use, exercise equipment can be releasably attached to chosen attachment members such that a variety of exercise band shapes can be created and a variety of exercises can then be performed using the improved exercise band.
Claims6
The improved exercise band comprising:
- an elastic band including:
- a proximal end;
- a distal end;
- and
- a length;
- a first handle;
- wherein said first handle is attached to said proximal end of said elastic band;
- a second handle;
- wherein said second handle is attached to said distal end of said elastic band;
- a sheath;
- wherein said sheath is formed having a tubular shape;
- and
- wherein said sheath is adapted to extend between said proximal and distal ends and surround said elastic band;
- and
- a plurality of attachment members:
- wherein said plurality of attachment members are spaced from one another and attached to said sheath;
- and
- wherein said plurality of attachment members are each adapted to allow releasable attachment of and movement of exercise equipment respective said elastic band;
- wherein when in use said exercise equipment are adapted to be releasably attached to chosen said attachment members such that said exercise band can be formed in different shapes, such that a variety of exercises can be performed using said improved exercise band.
