Abstract
A method for determining a state of a fluidic system can include measuring back pressures in the fluidic system at different times and determining a state of the fluidic system. The determination is based on at least the measured back pressures and on additional status information indicative of at least one status of the fluidic system at at least one of the different times.
Claims21
(canceled)
A fluidic system comprising:
- hardware comprising at least one backpressure sensor configured to measure a backpressure of the fluidic system;
- a diagnostics unit configured to receive data measured by the backpressure sensor;
- and
- a database connected to the diagnostics unit and configured to provide access to historical data and to receive new data from the diagnostics unit;
- wherein the diagnostics unit is configured
- to continuously monitor the backpressure of the fluidic system;
- and
- to apply mathematical methods to identify a deviation of a measured backpressure value from an expected value.

A method comprising:
- measuring a backpressure of a fluidic system,
- applying mathematical methods to identify a deviation of the measured backpressure value from an expected value.
A method for determining a state of a fluidic system, the method comprising
- measuring back pressures in the fluidic system at different times;
- and
- determining a state of the fluidic system, wherein the determination is based on at least the measured back pressures;
- wherein the determination is also based on additional status information indicative of at least one status of the fluidic system at at least one of the different times;
- and
- wherein the step of determining a state of the fluidic system comprises comparing the measured back pressures to at least one reference;
- wherein the reference used in the comparison step depends on the additional status information.
