In addition, the present invention relates to an air purifying system using moss wherein the air purifier using moss is sprayed with an appropriate amount of water at the appropriate time, and an operating method thereof. An air purifying system of the present invention comprises: an air purifier comprising moss and a display unit; and a sprayer that communicates with the air purifier and sprays the moss with water, wherein the air purifier detects water spray from the sprayer and changes information displayed on a display.
