Abstract
The present application relates to kimchi containing lactic acid bacteria which can be effectively used for the prevention and treatment of Helicobacter pylori-associated diseases.
Claims10
A method for ameliorating gastric cancer comprising administering a kimchi or an extract thereof to a subject in need thereof,
- wherein the kimchi comprises (i) salted and seasoned vegetables, and (ii) Leuconostoc mesenteroides CJLM119 deposited under accession number of KCTC 13043BP and Lactobacillus plantarum CJLP133 deposited under accession number of KCTC 11403BP;
- and
- wherein the salted and seasoned vegetables are fermented with the Leuconostoc mesenteroides CJLM119 deposited under accession number of KCTC 13043BP and Lactobacillus plantarum CJLP133 deposited under accession number of KCTC 11403BP.
