Abstract
A yaw rate is sensed on a towing vehicle that is towing an air seeder. The sensed yaw rate is used to predict a future yaw rate on a planting implement of the air seeder. An application rate of material is varied across the application implement based upon the predicted yaw rate across the implement.

An agricultural system comprising:
- a yaw rate detector configured to detect an instantaneous yaw rate of a towing vehicle;
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions executable by the one or more processors that, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the one or more processors to:
- predict, based on the instantaneous yaw rate of the towing vehicle, a predicted yaw rate of a towed application tool towed by the towing vehicle;
- and
- control the towed application tool based, at least, on the predicted yaw rate of the towed application tool.

A computer implemented method of controlling a towed application tool towed by a towing vehicle comprising:
- detecting an instantaneous yaw rate of the towing vehicle;
- predicting, based on the instantaneous yaw rate of the towing vehicle, a predicted yaw rate of the towed application tool;
- controlling the towed application tool based, at least, on the predicted yaw rate of the towed application tool.
An agricultural system comprising:
- a yaw rate detector disposed on a towing vehicle and configured to detect an instantaneous yaw rate of the towing vehicle;
- a plurality of actuators, each actuator configured to provide material to a respective one or more work points of a plurality of work points across a transverse axis of a towed application tool, the towed application tool towed by the towing vehicle;
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions executable by the one or more processors that, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the one or more processors to:
- predict a predicted yaw rate of the towed application tool at a reference point on the towed application tool based, at least, on the instantaneous yaw rate of the towing vehicle;
- generate a respective control signal value for each actuator of the plurality of actuators based, at least, on the predicted yaw rate and machine configuration data;
- and
- control each actuator of the plurality of actuators based on the respective control signal value to control a rate at which each actuator provides material to the respective one or more work points of the plurality of work points across the transverse axis of the towed application tool.
