Abstract
The invention relates to an instrumented metal nut (10b), having a tubular body having a polygonal drive surface (14). The nut comprises, on at least one annular portion (34) of the outer surface: an electrically insulating layer (36), applied to the annular portion; a piezoresistive conductive polymer (38), the ohmic resistance of which varies according to a stress exerted during tightening of the nut on a threaded fastener, said conductive polymer being applied to the electrically insulating layer; and at least two electrodes (40).
Claims10
An instrumented metal nut (10a, 10b, 10c, 10d) having a tubular body (12) extending along an axis (X-X) between a first face (18) and a second face (20), the body having a polygonal drive surface (14),
- characterized in that the nut comprises, on at least one annular portion (26, 28, 34) of the outer surface:
- an electrically insulating layer (36), applied to the annular portion;
- a piezoresistive conductive polymer (38), the ohmic resistance of which varies according to a stress exerted during tightening of the nut on a threaded fastener, said conductive polymer being applied to the electrically insulating layer;
- and at least two electrodes (40).
