Sensor units for use with fire suppression systems

A system, comprising:

• a first fire suppression system in a first location, the first fire suppression system comprising:
• a first storage tank containing a first pressurized fluid;
• and
• a first sensor unit including at least one first sensor configured to provide first sensor data related to the first pressurized fluid;
• a second fire suppression system in a second location different from the first location, the second fire suppression system comprising:
• a second storage tank containing a second pressurized fluid;
• and
• a second sensor unit including at least one second sensor configured to provide second sensor data related to the second pressurized fluid;
• and
• a cloud-based computing system programmed to:
• store the first sensor data and the second sensor data;
• determine, based on the first sensor data, whether the first storage tank has leaked;
• and
• in response to a determination that the first storage tank has leaked, control a user device to provide a notification indicating that the first storage tank has leaked.

A method of monitoring leakage within at least one fire suppression system, the method comprising:

• receiving temperature data indicating temperatures associated with a plurality of storage tanks of the at least one fire suppression system;
• receiving pressure data indicating pressures associated with the plurality of storage tanks;
• calculating a normalized pressure for each of the plurality of storage tanks based on the pressure data and temperature data for that storage tank;
• determining, based on the normalized pressure for a first storage tank of the plurality of storage tanks, whether the first storage tank has leaked;
• and
• controlling a user device to provide a notification in response to a determination that the first storage tank has leaked.
