Abstract
A method of operating an aerosol provision device, the method including: determining an ambient temperature; comparing the determined ambient temperature with a threshold value; operating the device in a predetermined usage session; setting a limit on the number of back-to-back usage sessions; wherein the limit on the number of back-to-back usage sessions is set in dependence on the comparison between the measured ambient temperature and the threshold value.

A method of operating an aerosol provision device, the method comprising:
- determining an ambient temperature;
- comparing the determined ambient temperature with a threshold value;
- operating the device in a predetermined usage session;
- setting a limit on the number of back-to-back usage sessions;
- wherein the limit on the number of back-to-back usage sessions is set in dependence on the comparison between the measured ambient temperature and the threshold value.
An aerosol provision device comprising:
- a heating assembly arranged to receive at least a portion of an article containing aerosol generating material;
- a temperature sensor configured to detect a temperature;
- a processor;
- and
- a memory,
- wherein the temperature sensor is configured to send the detected temperature to the processor, and wherein the processor is configured to compare the detected temperature to a threshold value, and to set a limit on the number of back-to-back sessions, wherein the limit on the number of back-to-back usage sessions is set in dependence on the comparison between the detected temperature and the threshold value.
