A composition comprising dry extract of intestinal content of adult chicken lyophilised by spray technique and tyndallised in batch mode and at least one live bacterial species selected from the group consisting of Enterococcus faecium, Streptococcus thermophilus, Bifidobacterium bifidum, Lactobacillus reuteri, and Lactobacillus acidophilus.
