Abstract
One embodiment of the present disclosure provides a display device characterized by comprising: a display which outputs content; a communication unit which communicates with a remote control device using Bluetooth; and a control unit which controls the communication unit, wherein the control unit transmits an ack response including connection and configuration information of a set-top box when a connection request is received from the remote control device.

A display device comprising:
- a display outputting content:
- a communication unit communicating with a remote control device by Bluetooth;
- and
- a controller controlling the communication unit,
- wherein upon receipt of a connection request from the remote control device, the controller transmits an ack response including connection and configuration information about a set-top box.

- receiving high duty advertising from a remote control device:
- transmitting a Bluetooth connection request to the remote control device;

- transmitting an ack response including connection and configuration information about a set-top box to the remote control device.
