Abstract
A system includes a pressure exchanger configured to exchange pressure between a first fluid and a second fluid. The system further includes one or more first valves coupled to the pressure exchanger. The one or more first valves in an open position are associated with a flushing operation.

A system comprising:
- a pressure exchanger configured to exchange pressure between a first fluid and a second fluid;
- and
- one or more first valves coupled to the pressure exchanger, wherein the one or more first valves in an open position are associated with a flushing operation.
A pressure exchanger configured to exchange pressure between a first fluid and a second fluid, the pressure exchanger comprising:
- one or more first ports configured to couple to one or more first valves, wherein the one or more first valves in an open position are associated with a flushing operation.
A method comprising:
- causing one or more first valves to be actuated to an open position, the one or more first valves being coupled to one or more first ports of a pressure exchanger that is configured to exchange pressure between a first fluid and a second fluid, wherein the one or more first valves are associated with a flushing operation of the pressure exchanger.
