Derivative of artemisinin and preparation method and use thereof

Abstract

Provided are an artemisinin derivative and a preparation method and use thereof. A structural formula of the artemisinin derivative is shown in Formula I. The compound has suitable solubility and is relatively stable under storage conditions. Pharmacokinetic experiments on the compound have shown that artemisinin is detectable in ocular tissues and is present in cornea, conjunctiva, and aqueous humor at a relatively high drug concentration. The compound is therefore an excellent precursor to artemisinin. The compound shown in Formula I exhibits remarkable absorbability, and the drug concentration in the ocular tissues indicates that the compound is well absorbed. The compound exhibits significantly better inhibitory effects on neovascularization in burn models than artemisinin, and can be prepared into liquid formulations such as eye drops, injection, etc., for treatment of ocular tissue diseases.
