Abstract
Devices and related systems and methods for installing an adapter, cap, plug, or other fitment in or over, or otherwise closing, filling, or sealing, an opening of a bottle, vial, or other container, wherein such devices are adjustable to enable use for different sizes of containers.
Claims29
A device adapted to install a fitment on a container having an opening, said device comprising:
- a platform defining an opening;
- a lever associated with said platform, said lever adapted to move between a first position and a second position;
- and
- a ram associated with said lever and configured to extend through said opening defined by said platform;
- wherein a height of said platform is adjustable;
- wherein said lever when moved from said first position to said second position is adapted to cause said ram to press a fitment in or over an opening of a container;
- and
- wherein the adjustable height of said platform is adapted to allow for said device to be used for, respectively, installing fitments on different sizes of containers.
