Methods of use to whiten teeth using one or more of the disclosed compositions.

An oral care composition comprising:
- (a) about 1% to 5%, by weight of the composition, of hydrogen peroxide;
- and
- (b) about 1% to about 5% of an alumina abrasive;
- (c) sodium fluoride;
- and
- (d) water,
- wherein the composition has a Relative Enamel Abrasion (REA) value of less than about 40.

- (b) alumina;
- (c) sodium fluoride;

- (c) water,
- wherein the oral care composition has a PCR value of at least about 100, an REA value of less than about 30, and a Relative Dental Abrasion Value of less than 150.
