Abstract
A medical device is configured to sense a cardiac electrical signal and determine from the cardiac electrical signal at least one of a maximum peak amplitude of a positive slope of the cardiac electrical signal and a maximum peak time interval from a pacing pulse to the maximum peak amplitude. The device is configured to determine a capture type of the pacing pulse based on at least one or both of the maximum peak amplitude and the maximum peak time interval.
Claims20
A medical device comprising:
- a sensing circuit configured to sense a first cardiac electrical signal;
- a therapy delivery circuit configured to deliver conduction system pacing pulses;
- a control circuit configured to:
- determine, from the first cardiac electrical signal, at least a value of a slope of the first cardiac electrical signal;
- and
- detect capture by a conduction system pacing pulse delivered by the therapy delivery circuit based on at least the value of the slope;
- and
- select a pacing pulse energy based on detecting the capture by the conduction system pacing pulse;
- and
- wherein the therapy delivery circuit is configured to deliver conduction system pacing pulses having the pacing pulse energy selected based on the detected capture.
A method comprising:
- sensing a first cardiac electrical signal;
- delivering conduction system pacing pulses;
- determining, from the first cardiac electrical signal, at least a value of a slope of the first cardiac electrical signal;
- and
- detecting capture by a conduction system pacing pulse of the delivered conduction system pacing pulses based on at least the value of the slope;
- selecting a pacing pulse energy based on detecting the capture by the conduction system pacing pulse;
- and
- delivering conduction system pacing pulses having the pacing pulse energy selected based on the detected capture.
A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a set of instructions that, when executed by a control circuit of a medical device, cause the medical device to:
- sense a cardiac electrical signal;
- deliver conduction system pacing pulses;
- determine, from the cardiac electrical signal, at least a value of a slope of the cardiac electrical signal;
- detect capture by a conduction system pacing pulse of the delivered conduction system pacing pulses based on at least the value of the slope;
- and
- select a pacing pulse energy based on detecting the capture by the conduction system pacing pulse;
- and
- deliver conduction system pacing pulses having the pacing pulse energy selected based on the detected capture.
