Abstract
Disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating a mental disorder. More specifically, disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition for treating or preventing a mental disorder, including substance-related and addictive disorder, depressive disorder, anxiety disorder, or post-traumatic stress disorder, by using a compound that simultaneously regulates mGluR5 and 5-HT2AR.

A pharmaceutical composition for the prevention or treatment of mental disorder comprising a compound of the following Formula 1 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, together with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or excipient:
- in Formula 1,
- X1 and X2 together with carbon atom to which they are attached form cyclobutane, cyclopentane, cyclohexane, oxetane, tetrahydrofuran or tetrahydropyran ring;
- R1 is fluoro, hydroxy or C1-C5 alkyl;
- R2 is hydrogen, fluoro, hydroxy, C1-C5 alkyl or C1-C5 alkoxy;
- R3 is hydrogen, deuterium or C1-C5 alkyl;
- R4 and R5 are each independently hydrogen or fluoro, provided that at least one of R4 and R5 is fluoro;
- l and m are each independently an integer of 0 to 2;
- and
- n is 1 or 2.
A compound selected from the group consisting of:
- 4-((2,4-difluorophenyl)ethynyl)-N-(2-(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-4-yl)ethyl)benzamide;
- 4-((4-fluorophenyl)ethynyl)-N-((1-hydroxycyclohexyl)methyl)benzamide;
- 4-((4-fluorophenyl)ethynyl)-N-((1-hydroxycyclobutyl)methyl)benzamide;
- 4-((2,4-difluorophenyl)ethynyl)-N-((1-hydroxycyclohexyl)methyl)benzamide;
- 4-((2,4-difluorophenyl)ethynyl)-N-((1-hydroxycyclobutyl)methyl)benzamide;
- and
- N-(cyclobutylmethyl)-4-((2,4-difluorophenyl)ethynyl)benzamide,
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
