Apparatus, method and computer-accessible medium for obtaining tissue samples

A capsule apparatus for obtaining or treating at least one anatomical sample, comprising:

• a capsule comprising a housing configured to be inserted into a body,
• an outer surface of the housing comprising a capture material or a release material;
• an imaging system configured to obtain an image of the at least one anatomical sample;
• and
• a source,
• the source being configured to emit light radiation onto at least one portion of the capture material or the release material on the outer surface of the housing which causes at least one of:
• attachment of the at least one anatomical sample to at least one portion of the housing corresponding to the at least one portion of the capture material irradiated by the source, or release of a compound to the at least one anatomical sample from at least one portion of the housing corresponding to the at least one portion of the capture material irradiated by the source.
