Battery pack assembly and electric vehicle

An electric vehicle, comprising a battery pack assembly comprising:

• a frame comprising a tray and exhaust channels in communication with an exterior, wherein the exhaust channels is arranged on opposite sides of the tray;
• a composite cold plate arranged on the tray, and comprising a flow channel plate having a concave-convex rib on a surface thereof, wherein cold plate flow channels are defined by the concave-convex rib and the tray, and the cold plate flow channels are in communication with the exhaust channels;
• and
• at least one battery core arranged on the composite cold plate, wherein terminals of the battery core face the composite cold plate, first explosion-proof valves are arranged on a side of the battery core facing the composite cold plate, and the first explosion-proof valves are in communication with the cold plate flow channels.

A method of manufacturing a battery pack assembly, comprising:

• forming a frame including a tray and exhaust channels in communication with an exterior, the exhaust channels being arranged on opposite sides of the tray;
• arranging a composite cold plate on the tray, the composite cold plate comprising a flow channel plate with a concave-convex rib configuration on a surface thereof, wherein cold plate flow channels are formed between the concave-convex rib configuration and the tray when the composite cold plate is arranged on the tray, and the cold plate flow channels are in communication with the exhaust channels;
• and
• positioning at least one battery core on the composite cold plate, wherein terminals of the battery core face the composite cold plate, first explosion-proof valves are arranged on a side of the battery core facing the composite cold plate, and the first explosion-proof valves are in communication with the cold plate flow channels.
