Abstract
Some systems, devices and methods detailed herein provide a system for use in determining metrics of a subject. The system can provide, as an output, a function-metric value determined based on a defined relationship between physiological measures and a chronological age.
Claims22
A system for providing stimulation to a user, the system comprising:
- a device comprising:
- one or more electroencephalogram (EEG) sensors;
- and
- stimulation generation circuitry configured to deliver the stimulation to a targeted area of the user;
- one or more processors;
- and
- a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:
- receive, from the one or more EEG sensors of the device, an EEG signal that indicates ongoing brain activity of the user;
- identify, based on the EEG signal, a slow oscillation (SO) of the ongoing brain activity;
- extract one or more SO parameters from the SO of the ongoing brain activity;
- determine, based on the one or more SO parameters, one or more predicted SO values, wherein the one or more predicted SO values each correspond to a prediction of a future time at which the SO will exhibit a target morphology;
- and
- determine, based on the one or more predicted SO values, one or more parameters of the stimulation for delivery by the stimulation generation circuitry.

- and
- delivering, by the stimulation generation circuitry, the stimulation to a targeted area of the user.
