Method for controlling plant diseases

A method for controlling a plant disease which comprises applying a compound represented by formula (I):

• R1 represents a C2-C6 chain hydrocarbon group which may be optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from Group A, a C3-C8 alicyclic hydrocarbon group which may be optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from Group B, a three (3)- to seven (7)- membered non-aromatic heterocyclic group which may be optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from Group B, a methyl group which is substituted with one or more substituents selected from Group C, a C6-C10 aryl group, a five (5)- to ten (10)- membered aromatic heterocyclic group {each of the C6-C10 aryl group, and the five (5)- to ten (10)- membered aromatic heterocyclic group may optionally have one or more substituents selected from Group E}, or NR29R30,
• n is 0, 1, or 2,
• R2 represents a C1-C6 chain hydrocarbon group which may be optionally substituted with one or more halogen atoms, a C3-C8 alicyclic hydrocarbon group which may be optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from Group B, OR6, SR7, S(O)R8, S(O)2R9, NR10R11, C(O)R12, a nitro group, a cyano group, or a halogen atom,
• p is 0, 1, or 2,
• when p is 2, two of the R2 may be identical to or different from each other,
• R3 represents a C1-C6 chain hydrocarbon group which may be optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from Group A, a C3-C8 alicyclic hydrocarbon group, a three (3)- to eight (8)- membered non-aromatic heterocyclic group {each of the C3-C8 alicyclic hydrocarbon group, and the three (3)- to eight (8)- membered non-aromatic heterocyclic group may be optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from Group B}, a phenyl group, a five (5)- to six (6)- membered aromatic heterocyclic group {each of the phenyl group, and the five (5)- to six (6)- membered aromatic heterocyclic group may optionally have one or more substituents selected from Group D}, OR13, SR14, S(O)R15, S(O)2R16, NR17R18, C(O)R19, C(R20)═NOR21, a cyano group, a nitro group, an amino group, a hydroxy group, or a halogen atom,
• q is 1, 2, or 3,
• when q is 2 or 3, two or three of the R3 may be identical to or different from each other,
• R4 and R5 are identical to or different from each other, and each represents a C1-C6 chain hydrocarbon group which may be optionally substituted with one or more halogen atoms, a C3-C8 alicyclic hydrocarbon group which may be optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from Group B, OR22, SR23, S(O)R24, S(O)2R25, NR26R27, C(O)R28, a nitro group, a cyano group, a halogen atom, or a hydrogen atom,
• R6, R7, R10, R22, R23, R26, and R29 are identical to or different from each other, and each represents a C1-C6 chain hydrocarbon group which may be optionally substituted with one or more halogen atoms, or a hydrogen atom,
• R8, R9, R24, R25, and R30 are identical to or different from each other, and each represents a C1-C6 chain hydrocarbon group which may be optionally substituted with one or more halogen atoms,
• R11, and R27 are identical to or different from each other, and each represents a C1-C6 chain hydrocarbon group which may be optionally substituted with one or more halogen atoms, a (C1-C6 alkyl)carbonyl group, a (C1-C6 alkoxy)carbonyl group {each of the (C1-C6 alkyl)carbonyl group, and the (C1-C6 alkoxy)carbonyl group may be optionally substituted with one or more halogen atoms}, or a hydrogen atom,
• R12, R19, and R28 are identical to or different from each other, and each represents a C1-C6 chain hydrocarbon group, a C1-C6 alkoxy group, a C1-C6 alkylamino group, or a C2-C8 dialkylamino group {each of the C1-C6 chain hydrocarbon group, the C1-C6 alkoxy group, the C1-C6 alkylamino group, and the C2-C8 dialkylamino group may be optionally substituted with one or more halogen atoms},
• R13, R14, R15, R16, and R21 are identical to or different from each other, and each represents a C1-C6 chain hydrocarbon group which may be optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from Group A, a C3-C8 alicyclic hydrocarbon group, a three (3)- to eight (8)- membered non-aromatic heterocyclic group {each of the C3-C8 alicyclic hydrocarbon group, and the three (3)- to eight (8)- membered non-aromatic heterocyclic group may optionally have one or more substituents selected from Group B}, a phenyl group, or a five (5)- to six (6)- membered aromatic heterocyclic group {each of the phenyl group, and the five (5)- to six (6)- membered aromatic heterocyclic group may optionally have one or more substituents selected from Group D},
• R17 represents a C1-C6 chain hydrocarbon group which may optionally have one or more substituents selected from Group A, a C3-C8 alicyclic hydrocarbon group, a three (3)- to eight (8)- membered non-aromatic heterocyclic group {each of the C3-C8 alicyclic hydrocarbon group, and the three (3)- to eight (8)- membered non-aromatic heterocyclic group may optionally have one or more substituents selected from Group B}, a phenyl group, a five (5)- to six (6)- membered aromatic heterocyclic group {each of the phenyl group, and the five (5)- to six (6)- membered aromatic heterocyclic group may optionally have one or more substituents selected from Group D}, a (C1-C6 alkyl)carbonyl group, or a (C1-C6 alkoxy)carbonyl group {each of the (C1-C6 alkyl)carbonyl group, and the (C1-C6 alkoxy)carbonyl group may be optionally substituted with one or more halogen atoms},
• R18 and R20 are identical to or different from each other, and each represents a C1-C6 chain hydrocarbon group which may be optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from Group A, or a hydrogen atom,
• the neighboring R3 and R4 may combine together with a carbon atom to which they are attached to form a C5-C6 alicyclic hydrocarbon, a five (5)- to six (6)- membered non-aromatic heterocyclic ring {each of the C5-C6 alicyclic hydrocarbon, and the five (5)- to six (6)- membered non-aromatic heterocyclic ring may optionally have one or more substituents selected from Group B}, a benzene ring, or a five (5)- to six (6)- membered aromatic heterocyclic ring {each of the benzene ring, and the five (5)- to six (6)- membered aromatic heterocyclic ring may optionally have one or more substituents selected from Group E},
• two of the neighboring R3 and R3 may combine together with a carbon atom to which they are attached to form a C5-C6 alicyclic hydrocarbon, a five (5)- to six (6)-membered non-aromatic heterocyclic ring {each of the C5-C6 alicyclic hydrocarbon, and the five (5)- to six (6)- membered non-aromatic heterocyclic ring may optionally have one or more substituents selected from Group B}, a benzene ring, or a five (5)- to six (6)- membered aromatic heterocyclic ring {each of the benzene ring, and the five (5)- to six (6)- membered aromatic heterocyclic ring may optionally have one or more substituents selected from Group E},
• Group A is a group consisting of a C1-C6 alkoxy group, a C1-C6 alkylsulfanyl group, a C1-C6 alkylsulfinyl group, a C1-C6 alkylsulfonyl group, {each of the C1-C6 alkoxy group, the C1-C6 alkylsulfanyl group, the C1-C6 alkylsulfinyl group, and the C1-C6 alkylsulfonyl group may be optionally substituted with one or more halogen atoms}, a C3-C8 alicyclic hydrocarbon group, a three (3)- to eight (8)- membered non-aromatic heterocyclic group {each of the C3-C8 alicyclic hydrocarbon group, and the three (3)- to eight (8)- membered non-aromatic heterocyclic group may be optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from Group B}, a phenyl group, a five (5)- to six (6)-membered aromatic heterocyclic group {each of the phenyl group and the five (5)- to six (6)-membered aromatic heterocyclic group may be optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from Group D}, a halogen atom, a cyano group, a nitro group, and a hydroxy group.
• Group B is a group consisting of an oxo group, a thioxo group, a C1-C6 chain hydrocarbon group, a C1-C6 alkoxy group, a C1-C6 alkylsulfanyl group, a C1-C6 alkylsulfinyl group, a C1-C6 alkylsulfonyl group {each of the C1-C6 chain hydrocarbon group, the C1-C6 alkoxy group, the C1-C6 alkylsulfanyl group, the C1-C6 alkylsulfinyl group, and the C1-C6 alkylsulfonyl group may be optionally substituted with one or more halogen atoms}, a hydroxy group, a halogen atom, and a cyano group.
• Group C is a group consisting of a C1-C6 alkoxy group, a C1-C6 alkylsulfanyl group, a C1-C6 alkylsulfinyl group, a C1-C6 alkylsulfonyl group {each of the C1-C6 alkoxy group, the C1-C6 alkylsulfanyl group, the C1-C6 alkylsulfinyl group, and the C1-C6 alkylsulfonyl group may be optionally substituted with one or more halogen atoms}, a C3-C8 alicyclic hydrocarbon group, a three (3)- to eight (8)- membered non-aromatic heterocyclic group {each of the C3-C8 alicyclic hydrocarbon group, and the three (3)- to eight (8)-membered non-aromatic heterocyclic group may be optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from Group B}, a phenyl group, and the five (5)- to six (6)- membered aromatic heterocyclic group {each of the phenyl group and the five (5)- to six (6)- membered aromatic heterocyclic group may be optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from Group D}.

• Group E is a group consisting of a C1-C6 chain hydrocarbon group, a C1-C6 alkoxy group, a C1-C6 alkylsulfanyl group, a C1-C6 alkylsulfinyl group, a C1-C6 alkylsulfonyl group {each of the C1-C6 chain hydrocarbon group, the C1-C6 alkoxy group, the C1-C6 alkylsulfanyl group, the C1-C6 alkylsulfinyl group, and the C1-C6 alkylsulfonyl group may be optionally substituted with one or more halogen atoms}, a hydroxy group, a halogen atom, and a cyano group]
