## Abstract

The invention provides a compound of formula (I) or a salt thereof, as well as pharmaceutical compositions comprising a compound of formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and methods of inhibiting an MPC and treating an MPC related disease or condition.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A compound of formula (I):
or a salt thereof.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The salt of claim 1, which is a pharmaceutically acceptable salt.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The salt of claim 1, which is

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of formula (I) as described in claim 1 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1, 2, 3)

A method for inhibiting an MPC (in vivo or in vitro), comprising contacting the MPC with a compound of formula (I) or a salt as described in any one of claims 1-3.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

A method for treating an MPC related disease or condition (e.g., cancer, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, diabetes, obesity, or chronic graft versus host disease) in an animal (e.g., a mammal such as a human) comprising administering a compound of formula (I) as described in claim 1 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof to the animal.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

A compound of formula (I) as described in claim 1 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof for use in medical therapy.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

A compound of formula (I) as described in claim 1 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof for the prophylactic or therapeutic treatment of an MPC related disease or condition (e.g., cancer, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, diabetes, obesity, or chronic graft versus host disease).

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The use of a compound of formula (I) as described in claim 1 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof to prepare a medicament for treating an MPC related disease or condition (e.g., cancer, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, diabetes, obesity, or chronic graft versus host disease) in an animal (e.g. a mammal such as a human).
