A measurement system comprising: power converter circuitry; and measurement circuitry, wherein the measurement circuitry is operative to control a timing of a refresh of the power converter circuitry so as to avoid conflict with a measurement operation.

A measurement system comprising:
- power converter circuitry;
- and
- measurement circuitry, wherein the measurement circuitry is operative to control a timing of a refresh of the power converter circuitry so as to avoid conflict with a measurement operation.
Power converter circuitry configured to receive an input voltage and output an output voltage, the power converter circuitry comprising:
- an inductor;
- a first switch for controlling a current through the inductor;
- a capacitor;
- and
- a monostable circuit configured to control an off-time of the first switch.

A monostable circuit comprising:
- a first power supply rail configured to receive a supply voltage;
- a reference voltage supply rail;
- a constant current source;
- a capacitor;
- and
- an inverter, wherein:
- the constant current source is configured to supply a charging current to the capacitor;
- the inverter is coupled to receive a power supply;
- and
- an input of the inverter is coupled to the capacitor, such that a state of an output of the inverter switches when a magnitude of a voltage across the capacitor reaches half a magnitude of the supply voltage.
