Abstract
The present invention provides a method of producing a compound by a cross-coupling reaction, the method comprising: reacting compound 1 having a leaving group X1 on a carbon atom of an aromatic ring with compound 2 having a reactive group capable of a C—O bond formation reaction or a C—N bond formation reaction by substitution with the leaving group, in the presence of a catalyst and a base, in a solvent containing an amide-based solvent represented by formula A, wherein R1, R2, and R3 are each independently C1-4 alkyl provided that the sum of carbon atoms of R1, R2, and R3 is 4 or more and 6 or less, wherein X1 is a halogen atom or —O—SO2—R4.
Claims17
A method of producing a compound by a cross-coupling reaction, the method comprising:
- reacting compound 1 having a leaving group X1 on a carbon atom of an aromatic ring with compound 2 having a reactive group capable of a C—O bond formation reaction or a C—N bond formation reaction by substitution with the leaving group, in the presence of a catalyst and a base, in a solvent containing an amide-based solvent represented by formula A:
- wherein R1, R2, and R3 are each independently C1-4 alkyl provided that the sum of carbon atoms of R1, R2, and R3 is 4 or more and 6 or less, wherein
- X1 is a halogen atom or —O—SO2—R4;
- R4 is C1-6 alkyl optionally substituted with one or more fluorine atoms, or phenyl optionally substituted with one or more fluorine atoms or C1-6 alkyl optionally substituted with a fluorine atom;
- and
- compound 2 has a hydroxy capable of forming a C—O bond or an H—N group capable of forming a C—N bond.
