Abstract
A hydrogen production apparatus includes a first separation device that separates hydrogen from a first steel by-product gas and discharges a first mixed gas containing carbon monoxide and methane, a reforming device that generates the hydrogen and the carbon monoxide from the first mixed gas by using a reforming reaction, a heat supply device that generates heat energy using a second steel by-product gas as a combustion material and provides the heat energy to the reforming device, and a second separation device that individually separates the hydrogen and the carbon monoxide generated by the reforming device.
Claims20
A hydrogen production apparatus comprising:
- a first separation device configured to separate hydrogen from a first steel by-product gas and to discharge a first mixed gas containing carbon monoxide and methane;
- a reforming device configured to generate the hydrogen and the carbon monoxide from the first mixed gas by using a reforming reaction;
- a heat supply device configured to generate heat energy using a second steel by-product gas as a combustion material and to provide the heat energy to the reforming device;
- and
- a second separation device configured to individually separate the hydrogen and the carbon monoxide generated by the reforming device.
A hydrogen production method comprising:
- separating, by a first separation device, hydrogen from a first steel by-product gas and discharging a first mixed gas containing carbon monoxide and methane;
- generating, by a heat supply device, heat energy using a second steel by-product gas as a combustion material;
- generating, by a reforming device, the hydrogen and the carbon monoxide from the first mixed gas based on a reforming reaction using the heat energy;
- and
- individually separating, by a second separation device, the hydrogen and the carbon monoxide generated by the reforming device.
