Abstract
A glass article according to the present invention includes a glass substrate and a water repellent film provided on the glass substrate and containing an inorganic water repellent component, in which the inorganic water repellent component contains a lanthanoid oxide.

- a glass substrate;
- and
- a water repellent film provided on the glass substrate and containing an inorganic water repellent component,
- wherein the inorganic water repellent component contains a lanthanoid oxide.
