An exercise apparatus includes a base plate; a weight horn that extends from the base plate along a weight horn axis transverse to the base plate; and a restraint assembly that extends from the base plate along a restraint assembly axis transverse to the base plate.

A method for performing an exercise, comprising:
- restraining a user's ankles with an ankle restraint such that the user's knees are on the ground while performing a Nordic Hamstring Exercise.
A method for performing a Nordic Hamstring exercise, comprising:
- restraining a user's ankles with an ankle restraint that extends from a base plate such that the user's knees are displaced from the base plate while performing a Nordic Hamstring Exercise.
An exercise apparatus, comprising:
- a base plate;
- and
- a restraint assembly to provide ankle restraints, the restraint assembly extends from the base plate along a restraint assembly axis transverse to the base plate.
