This invention relates to kits including novel oral food challenge meal formulations. In particular, the invention also relates to kits including novel oral food challenge meal formulations, wherein the placebo dose formulation is indistinguishable from non-placebo dose formulations.

A challenge meal formulation comprising:
- from about 10% w/w to about 25% w/w of an allergen, wherein the allergen is peanut;
- from about 10% w/w to about 25% w/w of a starch component;
- from about 15% w/w to about 30% w/w of sucrose;
- from about 15% w/w to about 30% w/w of an oil component;
- and
- a flavour/colour masking component.
