Abstract
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for wireless communications. A wireless device may have different capabilities for preemption. A base station may use a signaling format to indicate a transmission power command and a preemption indicator. A wireless device may receive the signaling format and may determine, based on the transmission power command and the preemption indicator, whether to stop a transmission or to reduce a transmission power.
Claims30
A method comprising:
- transmitting, by a base station, information comprising:
- a plurality of power control commands;
- and
- a set of uplink preemption indicators that is associated with a power control command of the plurality of the power control commands and that indicates which one or more uplink resources, of a set of uplink resources, are preempted;
- and
- skipping, based on the power control command of the plurality of the power control commands, reception of a scheduled uplink transmission via at least one preempted uplink resource, of the set of uplink resources, indicated by the set of uplink preemption indicators.
A method comprising:
- transmitting, by a base station, first information indicating:
- a first power control command associated with one or more resources;
- and
- a plurality of uplink resources for at least one wireless device;
- transmitting second information comprising:
- a second power control command associated with one or more preempted resources;
- and
- an uplink preemption indicator, associated with the one or more preempted resources, indicating a first uplink resource, of the plurality of uplink resources, that is not preempted;
- and
- receiving, based on the uplink preemption indicator indicating the first uplink resource that is not preempted, a portion of uplink data via the first uplink resource, wherein a transmission power of the portion of the uplink data is based on the first power control command.
A base station comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the base station to:
- transmit information comprising:
- a plurality of power control commands;
- and
- a set of uplink preemption indicators that is associated with a power control command of the plurality of the power control commands and that indicates which one or more uplink resources, of a set of uplink resources, are preempted;
- and
- skip, based on the power control command of the plurality of the power control commands, reception of a scheduled uplink transmission via at least one preempted uplink resource, of the set of uplink resources, indicated by the set of uplink preemption indicators.
A base station comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the base station to:
- transmit first information indicating:
- a first power control command associated with one or more resources;
- and
- a plurality of uplink resources for at least one wireless device;
- transmit second information comprising:
- a second power control command associated with one or more preempted resources;
- and
- an uplink preemption indicator, associated with the one or more preempted resources, indicating a first uplink resource, of the plurality of uplink resources, that is not preempted;
- and
- receive, based on the uplink preemption indicator indicating the first uplink resource that is not preempted, a portion of uplink data via the first uplink resource, wherein a transmission power of the portion of the uplink data is based on the first power control command.
