Abstract
A light shutter comprising a first base element with a transparent electrode layer. a second base element with a transparent electrode layer, and a polymer matrix with improved dispersibility is disclosed. The polymer matrix comprises at least one mesogenic ligand nanoparticle complex and at least one liquid crystal compound.

A light shutter comprising:
- a first base element with a transparent electrode layer;
- a second base element with a transparent electrode layer;
- and
- a polymer matrix comprising a mesogenic ligand nanoparticle complex and a liquid crystal compound, wherein the polymer matrix is disposed between the first base element and the second base element.
