Abstract
A snap-on wheel cover overlay for a wheel of a vehicle comprises a peripheral boundary defining an inner surface and an outer surface, a surround extending from the peripheral boundary, a plurality of spokes and a plurality of openings, and a cladding material. Each opening of the plurality of openings passes from the outer surface through the inner surface and is located between each successive spoke of the plurality of spokes. The cladding material is configured to connect the inner surface to the wheel.

A wheel cover overlay (10) for a wheel (50) of a vehicle, said wheel cover overlay comprising:
- a peripheral boundary (100) defining an inner surface (110) and an outer surface (120);
- a surround (200) extending from the peripheral boundary;
- a plurality of spokes (300) and a plurality of openings (400), each opening of the plurality of openings passing from the outer surface through the inner surface and located between successive spokes of the plurality of spokes;
- and
- a cladding material (1000) configured to connect at least a portion of the inner surface to a portion of the wheel.
