Abstract
Disclosed is an invention related to a method for controlling a mobile hood. The disclosed invention is characterized in that a mobile hood is controlled in terms of any one of strength and direction of suction power and strength and direction of air curtain on the basis of measurement of any one from among the pollutant concentration, and distance and height to the cooking object.

A method for controlling a mobile hood including a main body provided with an outlet and a discharge port, a fan configured to suction outside air, and a sensor module configured to detect at least any one of a distance to a cooking object and a concentration of pollutant, the method comprising:
- a measuring operation of performing at least any one of distance measurement to the cooking object and concentration measurement of the pollutant;
- and
- an operational control operation of controlling an operation of an operation of the fan based on the result of measurement in the measuring operation.
