Abstract
A terephthalate resin composition exhibiting excellent weather resistance, including, relative to 100 parts by mass of a polyethylene terephthalate resin, 0.1 to 5 parts by mass of a carboxylic acid alkali metal salt, 0.1 to 6 parts by mass of carbon black, 55 parts by mass or more of glass fibers, and 0.01 to 2 parts by mass of a water-repelling agent.

A polyethylene terephthalate resin composition, comprising, relative to 100 parts by mass of a polyethylene terephthalate resin (A):
- 0.1 to 5 parts by mass of a carboxylic acid alkali metal salt (B);
- 0.1 to 6 parts by mass of carbon black (C);
- 55 parts by mass or more of glass fibers (D);
- and
- 0.01 to 2 parts by mass of a water-repelling agent (E).
