Abstract
A method for preparing a thermoplastic composition comprising grafted cellulose and/or hemicelluloses is disclosed. The method may comprise reacting a cyclic ester monomer with cellulose and/or hemicelluloses, thereby grafting the cellulose and/or hemicelluloses with the cyclic ester monomer at least partially, and thereby forming the thermoplastic composition.

A method for preparing a thermoplastic composition comprising grafted cellulose and/or hemicelluloses, wherein the method comprises reacting a cyclic ester monomer with cellulose and/or hemicelluloses, thereby grafting the cellulose and/or hemicelluloses with the cyclic ester monomer at least partially, and thereby forming the thermoplastic composition.
A thermoplastic composition comprising cellulose and/or hemicelluloses grafted with a polyester, wherein the thermoplastic composition is biodegradable.
