Abstract
An apparatus including a body configured to house a writing tool therein and a sharpener connected to the body. The sharpener is configured to allow a user to sharpen a knife by gripping the body and sliding the knife on the sharpener.

An apparatus comprising:
- a body configured to house a writing tool therein;
- and
- a sharpener connected to the body, the sharpener configured to allow a user to sharpen a knife by gripping the body and sliding the knife on the sharpener.
A pen apparatus comprising:
- a pen body having a barrel;
- an ink cartridge disposed within the barrel;
- and
- a sharpener connected to the barrel, the sharpener configured to allow a user to sharpen a knife by gripping the pen body and sliding the knife on the sharpener.

A pen apparatus comprising:
- a pen body having a barrel, the barrel comprising a sharpener compartment;
- an ink cartridge disposed within the barrel;
- an arm rotatably connected to the barrel and selectively covering the sharpener compartment;
- and
- a sharpener connected to the rotatable arm,
- wherein the arm is configured to rotate in between a stowed position in which the sharpener is stowed within the sharpener compartment and an operational position in which the sharpener is exposed such that a user can sharpen a knife thereon by gripping the pen body and sliding the knife on the sharpener.
