Abstract
A method for manufacturing a can by deep drawing using a press machine, the can being a quadrilateral can having a rectangular opening, the method including controlling a temperature of a punch and/or a temperature of a die by supplying a heat medium as a fluid to a flow path provided inside the punch and/or the die.

A method for manufacturing a can by deep drawing using a press machine, the can being a quadrilateral can having a quadrilateral opening, the method comprising:
- controlling a temperature of a punch and/or a temperature of a die by supplying a heat medium as a fluid to a flow path provided inside the punch and/or the die.
A press machine for deep drawing a can, comprising:
- a punch;
- a die;
- and
- a controller, wherein
- the punch and/or the die are/is configured to perform deep drawing of a quadrilateral can having a rectangular opening,
- the punch and/or the die include therein a flow path of a heat medium as a fluid, and
- the controller is configured to control a temperature and/or a flow rate of the heat medium flowing through the punch and/or the die.
