Continuous flow centrifuge

A continuous flow centrifuge comprising

• a) a rotor with a centrifugation chamber, the rotor being supported for being rotated about a rotor axis,
• b) a drive connected to the rotor for driving the rotor at a rotor speed,
• c) a connecting section comprising a first connection conduit, via which a medium can be supplied to the centrifugation chamber during operation of the continuous flow centrifuge when the rotor rotates, and comprising a second connection conduit, via which the medium can be discharged from the centrifugation chamber, wherein one end region of the connecting section is fixed to a housing of the continuous flow centrifuge and the other end region of the connecting section is fixed to the rotor,
• d) a guiding device which guides the connecting section and which is rotated about the rotor axis at half the rotor speed,
• e) a connecting section temperature control circuit with a temperature control supply conduit and a temperature control discharge conduit which extend through the connecting section, wherein the temperature control supply conduit and the temperature control discharge conduit are flowed through in opposite flow directions by a connecting section temperature control fluid, and
• f) at least one electronic control unit which comprises control logic which controls the connecting section temperature control circuit.
