A mixture comprising:
- a plurality of Anellovirus ORF1 molecules, and
- a chaotropic agent;
- wherein at least 75% of the plurality of Anellovirus ORF1 molecules in the mixture are comprised in capsomers;
- and
- wherein host cell DNA in the mixture is substantially dissociated from the plurality of Anellovirus ORF1 molecules.
