Absorbent article

An absorbent article comprising:

• a liquid-permeable topsheet;
• a liquid-impermeable backsheet;
• an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet, wherein
• a low liquid permeation portion that:
• has a lower permeability speed of body fluid permeating from a skin side to a non-skin side of the absorbent article than a permeability speed of the body fluid in a surrounding area of the low liquid permeation portion,
• is disposed on the non-skin side relative to a non-skin surface of the topsheet and on the skin side relative to a non-skin surface of the absorbent core,
• the low liquid permeation portion is disposed on the absorbent core,
• a portion of the absorbent core corresponding to the low liquid permeation portion has a smaller absorption amount per unit area than an absorption amount per unit area in a portion of the absorbent core corresponding to the surrounding area of the low liquid permeation portion, and
• a region of the absorbent article corresponding to the low liquid permeation portion has a higher rigidity than a rigidity of the surrounding area of the low liquid permeation portion.
