## Abstract

In some embodiments, systems and methods are disclosed for location triggered order preparation. Timing and slip logic may be used to prepare orders to be ready for in-restaurant dining, pickup, and/or delivery based on numerous factors including number of orders, network bandwidth, restaurant properties, ordered menu items, the location of one or more vehicles, among others.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A system for ordering in a restaurant, the system comprising:
at least one data processor;
a data storage device; and
a memory including instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one data processor to:
receive input information pertaining to an order, the input information comprising: (i) at least one menu item, (ii) pricing, (iii) order size, (iv) customer identification, (v) desired order completion time, (vi) order type, (vii) preparation time, (viii) productive capacity at a given time interval, (ix) order status, or (x) some combination thereof;
based at least on the input information, apply order timing logic to generate timing information related to the order, wherein the timing information comprises a wait time associated with the order;
store the timing information in the data storage device;
transmitting, by the data processor via a cloud network system, the timing information to a plurality of interconnected restaurant location servers that uses a feedback loop to update an overall order queue used for selecting a restaurant location, wherein each restaurant location comprises at least one processor to process the order;
cause the wait time to be displayed on a display.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, further comprising generating a dynamic position of the order in a production queue associated with the order, and updating the dynamic position based on the input information.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, further comprising adjusting the timing information to modify the wait time associated with the order.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The system of claim 3, wherein modifying the wait time is configured to affect the speed of order inflow.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the order comprises a future order, and wherein the order timing logic further comprises logic to generate allowed time slots.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the order type comprises at least one of a pickup, a delivery, and a combination thereof.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, further comprising transmitting data pertaining to the timing information to at least one of a delivery order system, a drone, and a combination thereof.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein information related to the wait time is transmitted to at least one of mobile device display, a display board, and a combination thereof.

### Claim 9

A system for scheduling a restaurant order for a customer, the system comprising:
a database to store information;
at least one processor; and
a memory including instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to:
receive input information pertaining to an order, the input information comprising: (i) at least one menu item, (ii) pricing, (iii) order size, (iv) customer identification, (v) desired order completion time, (vi) order type, (vii) preparation time, (viii) productive capacity at a given time interval, (ix) order status, or (x) some combination thereof;
based at least on the input information, apply order timing logic to generate timing information related to the order, wherein the timing information comprises a wait time associated with the order;
store the timing information in the data storage device;
transmitting, by the data processor via a cloud network system, the timing information to a plurality of interconnected restaurant location servers that uses a feedback loop to update an overall order queue used for selecting a restaurant location, wherein each restaurant location comprises at least one processor to process the order;
cause the wait time to be displayed on a display.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The system of claim 9, further comprising generating a dynamic position of the order in a production queue associated with the order, and updating the dynamic position based on the input information.

### Claim 11 (depends on 9)

The system of claim 9, further comprising adjusting the timing information to modify the wait time associated with the order.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The system of claim 11, wherein modifying the wait time is configured to affect the speed of order inflow.

### Claim 13 (depends on 9)

The system of claim 9, wherein the order comprises a future order, and wherein the order timing logic further comprises logic to generate allowed time slots.

### Claim 14 (depends on 9)

The system of claim 9, wherein the order type comprises at least one of a pickup, a delivery, and a combination thereof.

### Claim 15 (depends on 9)

The system of claim 9, further comprising transmitting data pertaining to the timing information to at least one of a delivery order system, a drone, and a combination thereof.

### Claim 15

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium encoded with computer-executable instructions, that when executed by a device, cause a processor to:
receive input information pertaining to an order, the input information comprising: (i) at least one menu item, (ii) pricing, (iii) order size, (iv) customer identification, (v) desired order completion time, (vi) order type, (vii) preparation time, (viii) productive capacity at a given time interval, (ix) order status, or (x) some combination thereof;
based at least on the input information, apply order timing logic to generate timing information related to the order, wherein the timing information comprises a wait time associated with the order;
store the timing information in the data storage device;
transmitting, by the data processor via a cloud network system, the timing information to a plurality of interconnected restaurant location servers that uses a feedback loop to update an overall order queue used for selecting a restaurant location, wherein each restaurant location comprises at least one processor to process the order;
cause the wait time to be displayed on a display.

### Claim 16 (depends on 9)

The system of claim 9, wherein information related to the wait time is transmitted to at least one of mobile device display, a display board, and a combination thereof.

### Claim 16 (depends on 15)

The computer-readable storage medium of claim 15, further comprising generating a dynamic position of the order in a production queue associated with the order, and updating the dynamic position based on the input information.
