Abstract

Provided are an alloy having high hardness at high temperatures and high crack resistance, a powder consisting of the alloy, and an alloy member and a composite member including the alloy. The alloy includes, in % by mass, Cr at 10% to 20%, C at 1.0% to 2.5%, Ti at 3% to 8%, either or both of Nb and Ta at 8% to 15% in total, B at less than 0.5%, Al at 2% or less, Mo at 8% or less, W at 8% or less, a total of Mo and W being less than 10%, and a balance consisting of Ni and inevitable impurities, wherein a ratio of a total number of Ti, Nb, and Ta atoms to a number of C atoms is more than 1.5.
