Pouch-Type Cell And Method For Molding Sealing Part Thereof

A method for molding a sealing part of a pouch-type cell, the method comprising:

• (a) a step of folding and overlapping tips of sealing parts, which are positioned on each of both side ends of an electrode assembly housing part and protrude in an outward direction, toward the electrode assembly housing part;
• (b) a step of thermally pressing the overlapped sealing parts;
• (c) a step of positioning an upper support and a lower support to face each other in a direction perpendicular to upper and lower end surfaces of the sealing parts between the overlapped sealing parts and the electrode assembly housing part;
• and
• (d) a step of positioning a block to face the outer surface of the lower support base on the basis of the electrode assembly housing part, and raising the block toward the upper support base to bend the tips of the overlapped sealing parts toward the electrode assembly housing part,
• wherein while or after any one or more of steps (a), (b) and (d) are performed, the overlapped portion or bent portion is heated with infrared rays.
