Method and machine to manufacture a coil around a component of an article

A machine (14) to manufacture a coil (11) around a component (1) of an article;

• the machine (14) comprises:
• a main conveyor (15), which is designed to move, along an assembling path (P), a carriage (16) provided with a seat (18) designed to house the component (1);
• an input station (S1), which is arranged along the assembling path (P) and is configured to place the component (1) in the seat (18) of the carriage (16);
• a winding station (S5), which is arranged along the assembling path (P) downstream of the input station (S1) and is configured to wind an externally insulated conductor wire (13) around the component (1) in order to obtain a series of turns making up the wire (11);
• and
• locking means, which are configured to lock to the carriage (16) an initial end of the wire (13) before starting to wind the wire (13) and a final end of the wire (13) at the end of the winding of the wire (13).
